Hazardous Material Response – Operations (NFPA 472-2008)
Scope of Training
This course is designed for individuals who are responsible for conducting an initial response to a release or potential release of hazardous materials.
Upon completion of this course, participants will have the ability to initiate and complete defensive actions from a safe distance to control a release of hazardous materials. Participants will learn how to minimize the exposure of responding personnel to the release, and how to minimize the effects of the release on property, personnel and the environment.
