Hospital Abatement Demolition and Stack Drop
 Location: Hamilton, ON Prior to updating their heating system, the hospital retained QMLP to completed Type III abatement of boilers and associated piping. QMLP demolished, dismantled and removed a large boiler in the confines of the boiler house. QMLP also removed chillers, 3 above ground storage tanks and an underground fuel pipe that ran between the boiler and the above ground storage tanks. Another phase involved the engineered drop of a 180’ stack. As structures and landscaping that were to remain at the site were just feet away from the drop area, there was a zero margin for error. |
